Welcome to LetsFix. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LetsFix mobile application and services. Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using LetsFix, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1.1 Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use LetsFix
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- You must not be prohibited from using the service under Ghana law or any other applicable jurisdiction
- Service providers must have the legal right to provide services in Ghana
1.2 Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
2. Description of Services
LetsFix is a digital platform that connects customers with service providers for various home and professional services in Ghana.
2.1 Platform Services
LetsFix provides:
- A marketplace to connect customers and service providers
- Booking and scheduling management tools
- Secure payment processing through Paystack
- In-app messaging and communication
- Rating and review system
- Dispute resolution assistance
- Digital wallet functionality
2.2 Nature of Relationship
Important: LetsFix is a platform provider only. We do not:
- Employ service providers
- Control how service providers perform their work
- Guarantee the quality of services provided
- Act as an agent for customers or service providers
Service providers are independent contractors responsible for their own services, insurance, taxes, and compliance with applicable laws.
3. User Obligations
3.1 General Obligations
All users must:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Maintain the security of their account
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Treat other users with respect and professionalism
- Not use the platform for illegal purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent the platform for payments
3.2 Customer Obligations
Customers must:
- Provide accurate service requirements and location information
- Be available at the scheduled time for service delivery
- Provide safe and appropriate working conditions for service providers
- Make payments as agreed through the platform
- Provide honest and fair reviews
- Not harass, threaten, or abuse service providers
3.3 Service Provider Obligations
Service providers must:
- Possess necessary qualifications, licenses, and certifications
- Provide services professionally and safely
- Arrive on time for scheduled bookings
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
- Comply with all applicable professional standards and regulations
- Complete identity and credential verification
- Honor quoted prices and service commitments
- Not solicit customers to transact outside the platform
4. Verification and Background Checks
4.1 Service Provider Verification
All service providers must complete our verification process:
- Ghana Card verification
- Selfie verification
- Professional certification verification (where applicable)
- Background check (where available)
4.2 Limitations
While we conduct verification checks:
- We cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information provided by users
- Verification does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of quality
- Users are responsible for their own due diligence
- We are not liable for any issues arising from user interactions
5. Bookings and Service Delivery
5.1 Booking Process
- Customers create booking requests through the app
- Service providers can accept or decline bookings
- Accepted bookings create a binding agreement between customer and provider
- Both parties must honor the terms of accepted bookings
5.2 Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellations:
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before scheduled service
- Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee
- No-shows will be charged the full amount
Service Provider Cancellations:
- Must provide reasonable notice of cancellation
- Excessive cancellations may result in account suspension
- Last-minute cancellations may affect provider ratings
5.3 Service Completion
- Services must be completed as described and agreed
- Both parties must confirm service completion in the app
- Disputes about completion must be reported within 48 hours
6. Payments and Fees
6.1 Payment Processing
- All payments are processed through our secure payment system (Paystack)
- Accepted payment methods: Mobile Money, Credit/Debit Cards, Wallet
- Payments are held in escrow until service completion
- Customers must pay the agreed-upon price for services
6.2 Platform Fees
Service Fee:
- LetsFix charges a service fee on each transaction
- Fees are clearly displayed before booking confirmation
- Service providers pay a commission on completed bookings
- Fee structure may change with notice to users
6.3 Pricing
- Service providers set their own prices
- Prices must be honored once a booking is accepted
- Any changes to quoted prices must be agreed by both parties
- Additional charges for extra work must be approved by customer
6.4 Refunds
- Refunds are processed according to our Refund Policy
- Service not provided as agreed may qualify for full refund
- Partial refunds may be issued for partially completed services
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of service date
- Disputed refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
6.5 Wallet
- Users can maintain a digital wallet for faster payments
- Wallet funds can be topped up via Mobile Money or Card
- Service providers can withdraw earnings to their bank accounts
- Withdrawal processing may take 1-3 business days
7. Ratings and Reviews
7.1 Review System
- Customers can rate and review service providers after service completion
- Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on actual experience
- Reviews must not contain offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
- Service providers can respond to reviews
7.2 Review Moderation
- We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our policies
- Fake, fraudulent, or manipulated reviews will be removed
- Users who consistently post inappropriate reviews may be suspended
8. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Use the platform for illegal activities
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempt to circumvent payment through the platform
- Share account credentials with others
- Use automated systems to access the platform
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the application
- Collect user information without consent
- Interfere with the platform's operation
- Post spam or unauthorized advertising
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 LetsFix Property
- LetsFix and all related trademarks, logos, and branding are owned by FadiTech
- The app design, interface, and code are protected by copyright
- You may not use our intellectual property without permission
9.2 User Content
- You retain ownership of content you post (photos, reviews, messages)
- You grant LetsFix a license to use your content to operate the platform
- You represent that you have rights to all content you post
- You agree not to post content that infringes others' intellectual property
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
10.1 Platform Disclaimer
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
LetsFix makes no warranties regarding:
- The quality, safety, or legality of services provided
- The truth or accuracy of user content
- The qualifications or conduct of service providers
- Uninterrupted or error-free platform operation
10.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- LetsFix is not liable for services provided by service providers
- We are not responsible for disputes between users
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees paid by you in the past 12 months
- We are not liable for losses due to user error or misconduct
10.3 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LetsFix, its affiliates, and personnel from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another person
- Services you provide or receive through the platform
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 User Disputes
- Users should first attempt to resolve disputes directly
- LetsFix provides a dispute resolution mechanism for assistance
- We may mediate disputes but are not obligated to resolve them
- Our decision in disputes is final and binding
11.2 Arbitration
Any disputes with LetsFix shall be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiation first
- Mediation if negotiation fails
- Arbitration in accordance with Ghana law if mediation fails
- Arbitration shall be conducted in Kumasi, Ghana
11.3 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Ghana.
12. Account Suspension and Termination
12.1 Suspension
We may suspend your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- You receive excessive complaints from other users
- We suspect suspicious or harmful activity
12.2 Termination by LetsFix
We may terminate your account at any time for:
- Serious violations of these Terms
- Repeated violations after warnings
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Any reason with notice, at our discretion
12.3 Termination by User
- You may delete your account at any time through the app
- Outstanding payments must be resolved before account deletion
- Some data may be retained as required by law
12.4 Effect of Termination
- You lose access to your account and platform features
- Outstanding obligations survive termination
- Wallet funds will be returned (minus any fees or charges)
13. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

- We comply with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012
- You have rights regarding your personal data
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective:
- Immediately upon posting for non-material changes
- 30 days after notice for material changes
We will notify you of material changes by:
- In-app notification
- Email to your registered address
- Prominent notice on the platform
Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LetsFix.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
15.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms to any affiliate or successor.
15.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
15.6 Language
These Terms are provided in English. Any translations are for convenience only. The English version controls in case of conflict.
